Thoughtium is seeking a reliable, forward thinking Senior Consultant to join our growing team and contribute to important client work.  The Senior Consultant will partner with Thoughtium leadership and other consultants to support the design and delivery of small and large-scale projects within multiple client organizations across different industries.  The person in this position will play a significant role in developing supporting tools and content for our most important client engagements , as well as managing important relationships and deliverables.

We’re looking for a self-starting candidate who can work across multiple projects and thrives in a startup environment.  The Senior Consultant role will have significant exposure to internal and client-facing , engagements, working alongside other Thoughtium practitioners.  This role will have plenty of opportunity to grow with our rapidly-expanding organization.

  • Supports multiple projects across several clients, leveraging project management skills to ensure timely and quality delivery of work products.

  • Consults a wide range of client organizations from large-scale commercial organizations to start-ups

  • Prepares and facilitates client meetings including discovery sessions, collaborative design sessions, client engagements, business development and project reviews/retrospectives.

  • Interfaces with client leads and becomes a trusted advisor or confidant to the client.

  • Meets with Managing Consultants, Partners and others on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis to give updates and request support when needed.

  • Supports business development initiatives alongside Managing Consultants.

  • Performs project management for multiple client engagements.

  • Contributes directly to the development of internal Thoughtium practice including project analysis, internal business methodology, task techniques and review of project plans with practice leaders.

  • Assists in the development of proposals, business objectives, and business development strategy.

  • Prepares and presentations for both client delivery and internal practice development using PowerPoint and Google Slides.


  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience or 5+ years industry-related experience with demonstrated expertise in management consulting, strategy development or related field

  • Preferred experience in commercial life sciences (pharma, biotech, healthtech, device) or healthcare

  • Bachelor's degree in a field that provides a strong foundation for management consulting (Masters in a related field preferred)

  • Proven ability to demonstrate core consulting skills, including building client and internal presentations, project management, research and benchmarking, etc.

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a high-demand, fast paced startup environment

  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization, including Senior Management

  • Willingness to travel (local and out of state)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Ppt, Word, Excel) and Google Suite products (Slides, Docs, Sheets)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to use and learn new technology

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and produce results
