What is a 360 assessment?


360-degree feedback assessment provides a process of gathering feedback from one's direct reports, peers, and supervisor(s), as well as a self-evaluation by the employee themselves. When relevant, feedback from external sources who interact with the employee, such as customers and suppliers or other interested stakeholders, may also be incorporated into the feedback gathered. By soliciting input about an employee's behavior from a wide range of viewpoints, a complete, 360-degree, picture of the individual's preferences can be compiled to provide insights and serve as a helpful tool in growing and developing as a leader.
